Utilizing the permaculture design process, Tara Rae designs backyards to small farms to create regenerative solutions for food, fuel, fiber, forage, and medicine. These designs emphasize low-water landscapes, native species, pollinator habitat, rainwater catchment, food and medicinal species, and soil health.
Option 1: On-Site Consultation
On-site consultation includes a site visit to gather client and site-specific information which includes the social and ecological particulars for an informed permaculture design. 1-2 hours.
Zoom or phone consultation is also available with a high-level desktop review of site.
Option 2: On-Site Consultation and Conceptual Design Delivery
Following a site visit, if a conceptual design is desired, Tara Rae will produce a 10- to 15-page proposal including current site conditions as well as a proposed permaculture design, and hand-drawn map of the property’s design. An additional 8-10 hours. Includes on-site delivery of proposal with explanation.
Option 3: On-Site Consultation, Conceptual and Detailed Design Delivery
Includes a site visit, a conceptual design, and recommendations for local hardscape installers, builders, earth-moving experts, and maintenance gardeners or farmers for your site as well as plant and seed resources are also included. An additional 12-15 hours. Includes on-site delivery of proposal with explanation.
